Usually, I work with astrophysical images obtained with the largest telescopes on Earth. However, as you may find out here, taking photos with my Nikon camera or small CCD attached to a lens or small telescope, is something that I greatly enjoy. Astrophotography is just beautiful!

After having spent so much money on lenses and cameras for astrophotography, I thought it would actually be worth using them also for daylight photography :) So I started to take pictures of birds. Soon I realized that bird photography is at least as challenging as astrophotography. One needs to be patient and sometimes just lucky.
